Welcome to Hampstead Chiropractic Office. Our patients travel from Southern New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts. They are like family to us. On your first visit to our friendly office, you will be welcomed. Our receptionist will greet you and you will be asked to fill out some forms which will help us gain some information about you and your condition. You will be able to fill out this form prior to your visit which you can download from below. We will also review with you what our privacy policies are that will protect your personal health information.
Dr. Shields will then talk with you and ask you some specific questions regarding your condition to determine if he feels chiropractic care may be of benefit to you. If he feels that he can help you, he will tell you. If he feels he cannot help you, he will refer you to a doctor that will be able to help you the most. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent.
After a thorough consultation with the doctor, you will have a complete chiropractic examination. This will include testing your reflexes, your ability to turn and bend as well as other standard orthopedic, neurological, postural, and physical examinations. The doctor will gain valuable information regarding your condition so that he may have a better understanding of how he will be able to help you. If necessary, the doctor may take X-rays on site or refer you for additional testing procedures.
Once all the information and examinations have been performed, the doctor will ask you to schedule your next appointment. At your present or next appointment, he will discuss his findings and make his recommendations for your specific treatment program.

For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, flexible payment programs can be arranged. We accept cash, personal checks, and credit card payments.
